How do I sign up for MM4R?
You sign up only through social login (Google or Facebook): there is no email-and-password registration. The provider is what confirms you meet the minimum age.
What's the minimum age to join?
You must be at least 18. Your age is verified by the login provider (Google or Facebook) at sign-in, not by a self-declaration on the site.
Can I change my nickname after choosing it?
No. Once saved for the first time, your nickname stays fixed: it's the name other users know you by in chats and reactions, and changing it later would cause confusion.
How many photos can I upload to my public profile?
Up to 6 public photos. The first one in the sequence is your main photo, shown in search results.
What is the private gallery, and how is it different from my profile photos?
The private gallery can hold up to 10 images that never appear on your public profile or in search results. You can share it with someone in chat, either all at once (for 6 hours) or one photo at a time.
Who can see the photos in my private gallery?
Only people you've chosen to share them with in chat (for 6 hours), plus Premium subscribers, who can open it even without an explicit share from you and without your consent. This is clearly stated when you upload photos and on the Premium page.
Does anyone review my photos?
Yes. Besides moderation by the administration, public profile photos are also rated by other users — see the question about how photo rating works.
How does photo rating work?
Other users can rate someone's profile photos as "for everyone", "hot" or "very hot". You can't rate your own photos or those of users from your own country. At least 3 votes are needed for the outcome to count; if at least half the votes judge a photo unsuitable, it's withdrawn from the public profile and goes to review. Photos rated "very hot" never appear on public profiles regardless.
Why is one of my photos no longer visible on my profile?
It may have been rejected by the administration's moderation, or withdrawn by the community's rating (see the question about photo rating).
Who sees my exact date of birth?
No one. Your profile and search results only ever show your calculated age, never your exact date of birth.
Why am I asked for an extra consent for gender and orientation?
Gender and sexual orientation are special category data under the GDPR (art. 9): they require explicit consent, separate from the general one on terms and privacy, given once, the first time you fill them in.
How does profile search work?
You can filter by gender, orientation, physique and accommodation offered. Results are sorted by distance whenever your location is known.
Why can't I see the details of, or write to, some profiles?
With a free account, you can only contact and see the full details of the 100 profiles closest to you. Beyond that, the card appears locked with an invitation to subscribe to Premium, which removes the limit entirely.
Can search filters get me past a profile that's otherwise locked?
No. The 100-profile limit is based on the full list sorted by distance, not on the filtered one: narrowing your search doesn't unlock profiles that are otherwise out of reach.
How do I start a conversation with another user?
From the person's profile, tap "Write". If a conversation already exists, you'll find it again exactly as it was in the Messages list.
What happens if I block a user?
Neither of you will be able to message the other, and the conversation disappears from both your lists without being deleted. You can unblock the user at any time from their profile.
How do I report a user or an inappropriate message?
You'll find a "Report" button on the profile or on the individual message in chat. Every report is reviewed by the administration.
How long do chat messages stay visible?
The last 30 days. Older messages aren't deleted from the database, but they stop appearing in the conversation.
What are the hearts on photos?
A way to let someone know you like one of their public profile photos. Whoever receives it is notified as if it were a private message.
What are profile reactions?
Nine preset reactions (I like you, What a physique!, How adorable!, I want to get to know you, What elegance!, Sexy, My ideal type, Nice, Let's meet!) that you can leave on someone else's profile. You can only have one active at a time: tapping the same one again removes it. Reactions are also notified as a private message.
What does the Premium subscription include, and how much does it cost?
It costs $5 a month. It includes immediate access to every user's private gallery (without waiting for a share) and no limit on contacting or viewing profiles in search.
How do I pay for Premium?
Payment goes through Stripe, securely: MM4R never sees or stores your card details.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Any time, from the Premium page. Your benefits stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for: you don't lose what you've paid right away.
How can I tell a user is Premium?
By a star badge next to their nickname, visible on the profile, in search results, and in the private gallery when access happens thanks to the subscription.
Can I get an email when a new message arrives?
Yes, it's on by default. You can turn it off any time from the Notification center, in Options. You'll get at most one email every few minutes for the same conversation, even if more messages arrive.
How do I change the site's language or appearance (light/dark)?
From the Options page: the choice applies across all your devices and takes effect immediately.
What does "I offer accommodation" mean on the profile?
It's an optional field where you can indicate you offer accommodation (B&B, hotel, motel or private home) to whoever you want to meet.
How do I contact support if I can't find an answer here?
Use the form at the bottom of this page. You'll get a confirmation email: your request is handled within 48 hours for free users and within 12 hours for Premium users.
