How MM4R works
Put yourself out there and meet real people — no ghosting!
MM4R is a dating platform built around a simple idea: people meet online in order to meet in person. Below is everything you need to know, from signing up to your first date.
1. Sign in with Google or Facebook
There is no password to invent and forget: you sign in with the Google or Facebook account you already use. From it we receive your name, your email and — when the provider tells us — your age range, which is what keeps minors out. Your real name is never shown to other users: what they see is the nickname you choose.
2. Fill in your profile
Nickname, date of birth, sex and sexual preference are the minimum needed to be visible. Then you can add up to six photos — the first is the one that appears in search results — a bio, the "Looking for" section to say what you are looking for and in whom, and "Social life" with interests, sports, music, travel and five traits of your character. All of it is optional, but a filled-in profile gets opened far more often. The "Preview" button lets you check at any time how you look to others.
3. Find who interests you
Search starts from where you are: profiles are ordered by proximity, and next to each one you see the approximate distance. You can narrow by sex, sexual preference, build and whether they offer accommodation, and limit the list to people active recently. Your precise position is never shown to anyone: others only get the locality and a rounded distance.
4. Write and get to know each other
From someone's profile you can open a private conversation. You can attach images, which are automatically resized before sending, and share your private gallery for a limited time with whoever you decide. One thing is worth knowing up front: anyone with a Premium subscription can open anybody's private gallery without asking. Only images sent directly in chat stay visible to the recipient alone.
5. Get noticed
You do not have to write first. You can leave a heart on a photo or a reaction on a profile — "I like you", "What a body!", "Let's meet!" and others — and the person is notified. The "Visits" section also shows who opened your profile and when: it is often the most natural way to work out who is worth contacting.
6. Meet in person
This is what sets MM4R apart. You propose a place, a date and a time window, and choose a deposit amount. If the other person accepts, you both block the same amount on your card — blocked, not charged. On the day, each of you confirms being there from your own phone: whoever turns up has the block released without paying anything, whoever does not show up loses the deposit. That is how standing people up stops.
7. Stay in control
You can block anyone at any time, and the block works both ways. You can report a user or a single message to us. Under "Settings" you will find a list of your recent sign-ins, with location and device, so you can spot someone getting in as you. With a subscription you can also browse profiles incognito. And if you want to leave, the account closes from the settings on its own: you have thirty days to change your mind, then the data is deleted.
