Welcome to MM4R. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the platform. By accessing the service you declare that you have read, understood and accepted them.

1. Who we are and what the service is

MM4R ("meet me 4 real") is an online service operated by Silvia Stecca, with registered office at Viale Regina Margherita 13, VAT no. XXXXXXXXXXX, company register no. RO-12345 (hereinafter "MM4R", "we"). The service is a dating platform comprising a personal profile, searching for other users by proximity, private messaging, image sharing, the "Meet in person" feature and some paid functionality.

2. Access requirements

Access to MM4R is restricted to people aged at least 18. On first sign-in you are asked to confirm explicitly that you meet the minimum age, as well as to accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We also use the age range that Google or Meta communicate at sign-in, where available, as a further check. That information is provided by those providers on the basis of what the user has declared on their own profile: it is not identity verification or certified age verification, and MM4R cannot guarantee its accuracy.

If we find out, including at a later time, that an account belongs to someone who does not meet this requirement, we reserve the right to suspend or close the account without notice.

3. Signing in and your account

There is no sign-in with a freely chosen username and password: access is exclusively through your Google or Facebook (Meta) account, from which we receive your name, your email address and, where available, your age range. You are responsible for the security of the social account used to access MM4R: anyone who gets into that account will also be able to get into your MM4R profile. In your account options you will find a list of your recent sign-ins, with date, estimated location and device, so that you can notice a sign-in that is not yours.

Each person may have only one account. The nickname you choose is unique and, once saved, can no longer be changed: it is the name by which other users know you.

4. Your profile and what you publish

You are solely responsible for what you write and upload on MM4R. By uploading an image you declare that you hold the rights to it and have the consent of every person portrayed. Do not upload images of other people without their consent, nor images that do not belong to you.

The content you publish remains yours. You grant us only the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, reproduce and display it within the platform, to the extent necessary to make it work and for as long as you choose to keep it published. We do not use it for other purposes, do not pass it on to third parties and do not use it for advertising.

5. Rules of conduct

By using MM4R you undertake to:

• provide truthful information, including about your age;
• not impersonate another person or create fake profiles;
• not publish or send unlawful, violent or discriminatory content, or content portraying minors in sexualised contexts;
• not harass, threaten, stalk or blackmail other users;
• not use the platform to offer or request paid sexual services;
• not use the platform for scams, requests for money, advertising or unsolicited bulk messaging;
• not circulate outside the platform the images or private messages received from other users;
• not attempt to circumvent the access checks, the age checks or the limits described in these Terms;
• not compromise the security or operation of the platform, nor harvest its data by automated means.

6. Private messages

The messages you exchange with other users are private between you and the recipient, but they are not end-to-end encrypted: authorised staff can access them for moderation and safety purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy. Remember, too, that the recipient can copy, save or photograph anything you send them: no technical measure can prevent this.

If a user closes their account, the conversations they had with you remain visible in your list, but without their name and without any link to their profile, and it is no longer possible to write to them.

7. Private gallery

The private gallery holds images that do not appear on your profile or in search results. You can share it in chat with whomever you decide, for a limited time.

Please note: users with an active Premium subscription can open anyone's private gallery, without you sharing it and without your consent. This is a benefit included in the subscription and you must take it into account when deciding what to upload there. Only the images you send directly in a conversation remain visible to the recipient alone.

8. Image rating

Profile photos may be submitted for rating by other users, who indicate whether they consider the image suitable to be shown to everyone. The outcome contributes, in aggregated and anonymous form, to determining where and to whom the image is shown: an image judged unsuitable may be made less visible or withdrawn from the public profile. A decision by the administration always prevails over that of users.

9. Profile visits

When you open someone else's profile, that person sees that you did and when. The same applies in reverse. Visits remain visible for 1 day, or for 15 days for those with an active subscription, and are then deleted. With an active subscription you can browse profiles incognito: in that case your visits are neither recorded nor shown to anyone.

10. Meeting in person and deposits

"Meet in person" lets two users commit to each other to a real-world meeting, each placing a pre-authorised deposit on their own card (10, 20 or 50 US dollars). The feature is governed by specific conditions, which must be accepted separately before you can propose or accept a meeting, and which describe in detail when a deposit is returned and when it is retained.

Meeting in person someone you have met online carries risks. MM4R does not verify users' identities and is not a party to the meeting: choose public places, tell someone you trust, and end the meeting if something does not feel right.

11. Premium subscription

The Premium subscription costs 5.00 USD per month and renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Any conversion into your currency is handled by Stripe or by your card network.

The subscription includes:

• access to other users' private galleries (see point 7);
• removal of the 100-profile reach limit that applies to accounts without a subscription;
• longer retention of the visits you receive, and the ability to browse profiles incognito;
• a visible badge on your profile.

You can cancel at any time from the Premium page: cancelling stops the renewal, not the access. The benefits stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is provided for the current period, without prejudice to the right of withdrawal in point 13.

Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc.: MM4R neither receives nor stores your card number. We may change the price by giving notice before the change takes effect; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before the next renewal.

12. Gifting a subscription

You can gift another person one or more months of Premium. It is a one-off payment and does not renew automatically. Gifted months are added to any the recipient has already paid for, without replacing or shortening them. The gift cannot be cancelled or refunded once the months have been assigned, and gives the giver no rights over the recipient's account.

13. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of taking out a subscription or purchasing a gift, without having to give a reason, by writing to privacy@meetme4real.com. If you have already used the service in the meantime, we will refund the part proportionate to the period not enjoyed. Meeting deposits do not fall under this point: they are pre-authorised amounts and not payments for a service, and they follow the specific conditions referred to in point 10.

14. Moderation, blocking and reporting

You can block another user at any time: blocking ends the possibility of writing to each other in both directions. You can also report a user or an individual message to us.

In order to act on reports and ensure user safety, authorised staff can access content on the platform, including private conversations and images exchanged, and can remove it or make it no longer visible. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, giving notice where reasonably possible.

15. Closing your account

You can ask to close your account at any time from the options. You will receive a confirmation email: when you open the link, the account is suspended immediately and is no longer reachable by other users. You have 30 days to change your mind and reactivate it, simply by signing in again.

After those 30 days your data is deleted or anonymised, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your nickname, however, stays reserved indefinitely and no other user will be able to choose it: this prevents someone from presenting themselves, to people who knew you, under your name. Any subscription still running is not refunded.

16. Intellectual property

MM4R's content, trade marks and software are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property right to the user, save as expressly stated. The content you publish remains yours, on the terms of point 4.

17. No verification of users

MM4R does not verify users' identity, age, marital status, criminal record or any statement they make, and carries out no prior vetting of those who sign up. We do not guarantee the accuracy of what other users state in their profile or in messages. Any dealings between users, online or in person, take place under their sole responsibility.

18. Availability of the service and liability

MM4R is provided "as is". While we work to keep the service available and secure, we do not guarantee that it will always be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, nor for the conduct of other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including wilful misconduct and gross negligence.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. Substantial changes will be brought to your attention through a new request for acceptance at your next sign-in; continued use of the service after a non-substantial change constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, for any dispute the competent court is that of the place where you reside or have elected domicile, and all mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.
